Title: The role of the brain in motor performance in young and older adults.

Summary: Human brain is involved in all our daily activities. The brain can be trained or fatigued, but is also affected by our physical behavior or aging. The aim of this talk is to explain how the brain can modulate motor performance with cognitive fatigue, muscle fatigue,             physical activity or aging.


Vianney obtained his PhD in 2015 at the University of Burgundy under Dr Romuald Lepers' supervision. He went to Dr Sandra Hunter's lab at Marquette University (Milwaukee, USA) as a postdoctoral fellow. He was then a teaching assistant at the University of Nice. He has accepted an assistant-professor position at University Jean Monnet in September 2017.
