Title: How muscle stops building when it's working.

Summary : Muscle cells have to cope with high energy demand during physical exercise. Some anabolic processes are ATP-costly (protein and glycogen synthesis) and can thus be reduced to ensure cell survival during such stress. Our recent work try to identify the cellular mechanisms that enable these adaptations, notably through the complementary role of two energy sensors: REDD1 and AMPK.
