Summary: This presentation will present the hematopoetic and non hematopoetic effects of EPO.

Biography : Dr. Aurelien Pichon is a specialist in physiological adaptations to hypoxia and training, with a particular focus on cardiorespiratory coupling, hemorrheology and Epo. Aurélien has conducted numerous high-altitude experiments (4600m) on the Tibetan plateaus and is used to physiological experiments in difficult, rustic and confined conditions (hypobaric chambers…) for several weeks.

Aurelien Pichon has been involved in many successful collaborations on studies concerning the training of athletes in hypoxia, cardioventilatory control and hemorheological adjustments in hypoxia both in humans and animal.
