R&D Antepulsio

Antepulsion is a Reasearch and Development project aiming at a better understanding of functional anatomy by students. Antepulsion is an application combining two modalities: the 3D technology allowing a better visualization of anatomical structures and their links between them and the interactivity process between the learner and the digital tool allowing a better learning according to the theory of embodiment. This application contains different types of exercises with an increasing difficulty. The exercises content follows the first-year STAPS lectures curriculum at Lyon 1 University. A scientific experiment was conducted with the students of this program in order to observe the effects of this application use on anatomical results. The application design is the result of collaboration between several industrial partners. Throughout the design process, user feedback was taken into account to enable continuous tools’ improvement.
