1. Patients with congenital blindness are more stable than healthy subjects with eyes closed. 2. Keeping the eyes open or closed has a direct impact on postural control strategies. 3. The non-paretic limb plays a determining role in balance control of post-stroke patients. 4. Prolonged use of a rocking chair can be used as a training tool for the modification of sensori-motor coordination. 5. The use of a double seesaw (under each foot) facilitates the implementation of compensatory mecanisms between two supports for postural control. |
