Vincent GAUTHERON
After having been a hospital practitioner in Pediatrics in Rehabilitation and Functional Rehabilitation, holder of a DEA in Biology of muscular exercise, Vincent Gautheron obtained his Habilitation to Direct Research in 1994, then was appointed Professor of University Hospital Practitioner in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in September 1995 at the University Jean Monnet of Saint Etienne. Head of PMR department at CHU Saint Etienne since 1995, he created and took responsibility for the pediatric MPR department in 2004. He is a university scientific advisor at the St-Michel Institute for Physiotherapy. In the LIBM laboratory, Vincent has contributed to work on neuromuscular diseases and cerebral palsy, directing or co-directing the work of several Master 2 students or thesis students. He regularly contributes to the teaching of the M2 “Engineering in neuromotricity”, and coordinates the Rehab course of the Master Engineering and Health of the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1. Within the LIBM, he represents the federative network of research on disability (IFRH-FEDRAH) of which he is a member of the steering committee.
