Benoit Pairot de Fontenay
Benoit Pairot de Fontenay is a physiotherapist and a researcher. He is also a lecturer for The Running Clinic. After graduating from the IFMK of Lyon in 2004, Benoit worked in a private clinic and specialized in sport physiotherapy in 2009. In parallel to his clinical activity, he undertakes research on recovery after anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and injury prevention. This work allows him to defend his thesis (PhD) in Sport Sciences in 2014. Subsequently, he joined the Interdisciplinary Centre for Research in Rehabilitation and Social Integration (CIRRIS) in Quebec City to complete his postdoctoral studies. Since his return to France in 2019, he has been practicing physiotherapy at Cabinet de kinésithérapie des Canuts. He is also an associate researcher at LIBM and a researcher at La Clinique de la Sauvegarde. He combines clinical practice and research in musculoskeletal with a particular interest in knee and hip joints, and running. |
