In 2000 he moved to Quebec (Canada) to take a postdoctoral position at the University Laval and was finally named at the sport department of the Savoy University in 2001. His general research area investigates the behavioral, neurophysiological and biomechanical factors associated with fatigue. 1. Specific sensorimotor adaptations giving rise to palliative motor forms (Compensatory Motor Strategies) are observed in connection with the establishment of local peripheral fatigue. 2. The CNS can proactively integrate the state of muscle exhaustion into internal models of control. 3. In the field of motor rehabilitation, the reproduction of the axes of natural destabilization reinforces the sensorimotor restoration. 4. The sensory origin of the sense of effort depends on the context of the realization of the voluntary movement. |
